Nestled within Andaz Miami Beach in vibrant Mid‑Beach, Aguasal—named for the Spanish phrase agua salada (saltwater)—offers an elevated coastal Mediterranean dining experience. With airy indoor‑outdoor spaces and sunlit décor, the restaurant presents a thoughtfully curated menu of farm-fresh, sea-inspired fare. Signature seafood dishes, from mussels saganaki with feta and chives to delicate red snapper crudo, celebrate the ocean’s bounty and Mediterranean flavors. Guests also enjoy inventive entrées, standout sides, and desserts—like the sublime saffron rice pudding, praised for its texture and distinctive flavor.

Our Culinary Family: The José Andrés Group

Aguasal is part of the expansive José Andrés Group (JAG), a dynamic restaurant collective celebrated for its diversity of cuisines, concepts, and cultures. From high‑end tasting counters like minibar to lively Mediterranean small-plates venues such as Zaytinya and Jaleo, and immersive experiences like The Bazaar, JAG’s portfolio spans the U.S. and beyond. In Miami Beach, the group recently introduced Aguasal and Bar Centro—a café by day and cocktail lounge by night—offering Spanish pastries, pressed “bikini” sandwiches, and inventive cocktails as part of its culinary expansion at Andaz Miami Beach.
